One month full of Magic, a whole month of fairyhood….Carcassonne proposes an edition 2012 focused on childhood… A Magic of Christmas entirely relooked …decorations, attractions, illuminations. Traditional and popular attractions will be kept this year but also innovations wait for you for even more feelings, sledding, skating, ice, spectacles, lots of surprises….

The Magic of Christmas will begin with the traditional Santa Claus Festival in the medieval city, from Thursday 6th until Sunday 9th in December 2012. Within the program: an authentic Craft Market ( 40 craftsmen , workshops and demonstrations of their know-how),will be installed in the gardens of the Theatre Jean-Deschamps. A great medieval Festival with the troops of medievalists of the Great South of France in all the streets of the City ( combats, processions, ...) and a great walk with the torches in December , Saturday 8th.

The Magic of Christmas will be prolonged this year, for the first time, until January 6 to allow everybody to share magic moments in family until the end of school vacations.
